JAMES’ TOP 5 WAYS YOU CAN SPEND $180 BETTER OFF THIS SUMMER:

So Big Day out has shaken up its shit, and resulted in a lot of people stuck in a situation where they are debating what to do with the money they had spent or planned on spending on a ticket. Well fear not fellow chums. I have compiled a top 5 list of things you can spend your precious summer time and money on.

Staring off with number five…

5) Save your dollars. Everyone knows saving money is better than flushing it down the toilet. And because by the time we are old there will be no superannuation, thinking about the future is such an ideal…. But with ideality comes a large loss of fun. So continue down this list of fantastic alternatives and choose the one that’s right for you.

Placing nicely at number 4…

4)
Put it towards a ticket to CAMPUS-A-LOW-HUM. This little known amazing summer shin dig will no doubt shit all over Big Day Out anyway. Consisting of 4 days of fun in the sun, and experiencing all kinds of new things…. considering going to big day out and not camp is a foolish move to begin with apparently. Although a decent down side is trying to get off work for this kind of situation.

Ladies and gentlemen, NUMBER THREE!

3) Get all your friends together, grab a ghetto blaster, a sweet summer playlist and as much coke as you can afford. My ratio sort of works out that if you can find 5 friends who are keen to get onboard with this, you are probably going to have the best day of your life.

Sitting at number two is the obvious;

2) A ticket to Laneway. It will trump Big Day out in terms of bands, and you get more for your money by not missing out on anything, drinking some beers in the sun, and for $180 you could actually pick up your ticket AS WELL AS some beers, a pinger a cab fare home or some merch. Good luck spending less than $250 on the BDO!

And finally, coming in at NUMBER ONE….

1) JAMES’S LITTLE DAY IN!
Thats right bit¢hes. Due to an outcry of unhappy people with a whole lot of money and nothing to do, I have decided to organize a TINY EVENT / DOWNSCALED EQUIVALENT to the Big Day. I am now looking for a team of fantastic people to help make this happen, so come one, come all and lets turn the Saturday immediately following Big Day Out into a day of happiness, fun and musically good times. There will be no entry fee other than a smile and whatever you and your friends bring.
